WHAT IS INTERNAL WATERPROOFING?

Internal waterproofing involves applying a liquid applied membrane to the floors and walls to prevent moisture penetrating into the structure of the home. The waterproof membrane is applied before tiles are laid to protect the walls and subfloor.

Internal areas that require waterproofing as a part of the Australian Standard (AS) and National Construction Code (NCC) are bathrooms, shower areas, powder rooms, toilet areas and laundries.

WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT

The difference between Total Seal and our competitors is the level of care and attention to detail we bring to the process. We have a meticulous procedure that ensures the area is in pristine condition before waterproofing. It is crucial to ensure that water stops have been installed and all penetrations have been sealed. Whilst this level of preparation takes more time, it pays off with a waterproofing membrane that is far more durable and long lasting than what the competition provides.

Total Seal outperforms our competitors as we strictly use the highest quality waterproofing membrane and a 3 coat system which is more flexible and able to accommodate minor movement without tearing or failing.
